Sansevieria Whitney is a beautiful snake plant variety. The outer margins of the leaves are medium-green and have the classic snake plant striping, but the centers are a deep, dark green color that almost appears black. 

Able to survive through drought and low light conditions, Sansevieria plants are tolerant of neglect and require minimal water. These plants are very adaptable and are able to live in brighter conditions as well. They prefer a well draining soil mix and can be watered every other week or every month based on home conditions.
