Alocasia Cuprea

The Cuprea variety of Alocasia has very dark leaves with a disc-like shape. Their stems are a lime green, in stark contrast with the leaf colors. The veining creates a dimpled texture on the leaves, creating even more visual interest. 

Also known as the elephant ear plant, the Alocasia is a warmth loving tropical plant that is sensitive to the cold. They prefer well draining soil, regular watering, and partial shade. They can be kept indoors or outdoors depending on your area. Be careful not to overwater.
