LeafLabs Aroid Mix - Ultra Chunky

Our ultra chunky aroid potting mix is made using the largest size of particles available. The huge chunks of perlite, bark, leca, and charcoal in this mix can often exceed quarter size in diameter. It provides maximum aeration and drainage to your prized aroid plants while containing just enough moisture retaining elements to ensure proper access to water and nutrients needed to thrive. This mix is for pro level keeping of aroid plants that need exceptional drainage and aeration for their root systems and where root rot is a major concern.

This mix retains very little moisture relative to our other products and may require a more frequent watering. Due to the high levels of inorganic material in the mix additional or stronger fertilizers may be required as well. 

Contains: coco coir / peat moss base, worm compost, long fiber sphagnum moss, orchid bark, perlite, LECA, vermiculite, charcoal, calcined clay

Great for: Alocasia, Anthurium, Monstera, Philodendron, and other plants loving max-root zone aeration.
