Maranta Variegated

The Maranta Variegated is a variety of Calathea that has leaves that pile on top of one another. They are a pale- to medium-green in color with dark spotting in the center. The variegation ranges from pale yellow to yellow-green.

Calathea plants require more specialized care than others, as they do not tolerate being watered with tap water. They are tropical plants that prefer high temperatures and high humidity, and they need either distilled water, reverse osmosis water, rain water, or treated water. They prefer well draining soil, but also have high watering requirements. Avoid direct sun.
